DARVOOBRABOTVANE-VT AD years of continuous growthCompany Darvoobrabotvane – VT AD, Bulgaria is a woodworking company with established traditions and experience in the production of various wooden products for construction and furniture industries. In 1961 the company initiated its activity with the production of parquet.
Year later equipment for veneer and plywood production was installed.
In 1968 the product range is expanded with production line for manufacturing of chipboards, which was replaced with a modern computer-controlled installation in 1992. In 1997 after the privatization the new owners has directed their efforts in building a modern company, meeting the contemporary market and ecological requirements. Considerable investments are done in new technologies and equipment in conformity with the high European requirements in order to limit the harmful influence over the environment, to improve the labour conditions and to have maximum wood utilization. The dynamic technology progress, combined with the diversity of market demand necessitated the development of a project for production of bended layer glued products, which was put into effect in the beginning of 2007, when the first layer glued elements were produced. Modern equipment with electronic control was bought, which enables the production of elements with complicated shapes and guarantee the preciseness of the mortises and holes and the even surface of the products. A considerable investment was done in finishing line with electronic control for applying of water based stain, clear and pigmented lacquers, guaranteeing healthy working conditions, environmental protection and customer’s safety. In an effort to meet the demands and expectations of its clients in May 2007 in Darvoobrabotvane – VT AD was introduced and certified the quality management system in compliance with the international standard ISO 9001:2000. At present in Darvoobrabotvane – VT AD are working over 420 people and above 70% from the sales are export oriented for the countries in Balkan Peninsula, Western Europe, North America and Japan. |
